We are so excited to share Caroylnne and Sam’s beautiful fairytale wedding at Brandywine Manor House in Honey Brook, PA. Their day was bursting with dreamy blooms by Blue Moon Florist and enchanting flower crowns adorned the bride and her lovely ladies. Carolynne the fairy princess herself looked stunning in her blush colored gown by Essence of Australia. Carolynne’s beautiful bridesmaids wore sea foam green gowns by Jenny Yoo. Before we share more about this fairytale wedding, we want to tell you the story of how these two met and fell in love, because we promise you will be charmed by their sweet story!
Who doesn’t love a good fairytale? I know we do! Especially when it’s a real life fairytale. We have all heard the, “ it was love at first sight,” line that most fairytales start with. However, for our sweet Carolynne and Sam who met in 6th grade that was not the case. Carolynne told us her and Sam actually didn’t like each other when they first met in 6th grade, but by 7th grade they were smitten! The two became inseparable best friends for the next three years until they officially started dating their sophomore year of high school. Their relationship went long distance during college, which many couples have not survived. But the distance only made these two grow stronger and confirmed what they both said they knew since 7th grade, that they were meant to be.
Sam proposed to Caroylnne their Sophomore year of college when they were both home visiting their families for Easter. He snuck an engagement ring onto her keychain in place of her house key. What a fun surprise it was for Carolynne when she got out her keys! It was shortly after this that we met this sweet couple and couldn’t help, but love them to pieces. We greatly admire their love for the Lord and love for each other. This love was so apparent the day of their wedding.
Carolynne and Sam got married May 28th, 2017 at Brandywine Manor House. As Carolynne’s dad gracefully escorted her down the aisle a light rain started and somehow made their ceremony all the more romantic. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience when Sam saw his bride coming down the aisle. The look of love on his face and tears of complete joy and admiration for the beautiful girl he was about to marry was so apparent. The rain drops stopped after the couple exchanged their “I dos” and allowed us to take some beautiful photos of this sweet couple at the lovely Brandywine Manor House. After their pictures the rain started again, but it didn’t stop Carolynne and Sam from dancing the night away with their closest friends and family. We hope you enjoy looking at photos of this whimsical day and most of all we congratulate the new Mr. and Mrs. on tying the knot!
